Lagoon in June
Dave and Dallen started the weekend by going to the Fathers and Sons campout with our home ward in Highland. His Dad and brother Ryan, came up with the idea that they should all attend this year, so we made it a first priority. (Mainly because I needed a night alone! Tehehe) It was so nice to have a quiet evening, but I wouldn't want it on a regular basis. It was hard to sleep, and not think about missing them. They had a great time together, and definitely want to make it a tradition. I woke up super early to get the chores done, and even mowed the yard so Dave could have a work free weekend. Once they returned they cleaned up and we headed out for a fun filled day.
Dave's company throws an annual Lagoon party, and it's such a blast. We went a couple years ago, but weren't able to last year with Rorey's birth. It's nice to go without having to pay the monstrous fun fees. We were able to get free entry, meals, ice creams and face paintings. We didn't think we would last as long as we did! The boys were great and we had a ton of fun together. Once the whining kicked in, we knew it was time to head out. Two minutes after getting on the road, they crashed. Thank you Lagoon for wearing out my children!
